Art from Gaza by Laila Kassab

Launch event Friday 3rd July 6-9 pm. Sunday5th 12 noon till 4 pm Thereafter by arrangement. Free

Laila Kassab is a Palestinian artist from Gaza. Forced by the war to flee her homeland with her five children, she carried with her only the remnants of her memories and dreams. Despite the hardship of the journey and the distance from her homeland, she managed to keep her artistic voice alive and share her experience beyond borders.

Laila successfully brought her work to Britain, where her paintings became an open space for telling the stories of Palestine: of land, identity, and humanity. In her art, colors transform into visual testimonies that speak the unspoken, recounting the details of a homeland that remains present in memory no matter how far the body may be.

Not just paintings but living testimonies from Gaza. We invite you to discover the exhibition of a Palestinian artist from Gaza, where memory transforms into colors, pain into beauty, and silence into an unforgettable visual language. Here, you don’t stand before ordinary paintings, but before worlds that carry powerful human stories, drawing you into a profound, honest experience, full of questions that linger long after you leave. This exhibition is not just an experience to be seen but felt and lived. Be part of a rare artistic moment that will remain in your memory.
