John Kane and Fergus Mercer
John Kane and Fergus Mercer have come together through common interests in motorcycling and art.
Trained at Wimbledon and Farnham colleges respectively. John is interested in Contemporary Romanticism based on Post-Industrial landscapes, rural and beachscapes presented in charcoals, oils, prints and photographs.
Influenced by Abstract Modernism and ancient cultures, Fergus combines these with plant forms and classic elements. Colour, structure and materials are important, presented here with diverse and playful sculptures and paintings.
